Your second priority needs to be to get Idalia downgraded to a 2.
And then get me a DOW.

Is storm relative velocity with the inspector tool thing my best way to get a rough gauge of winds in the bands as they approach?
Posted on 9/26/24 at 10:24 pm to The Boat
The winds aren’t necessarily sustained 140 over water either right? And what a rialt is the definition of “sustained”? A minute? Five? 30 seconds??
Yall are really great at explaining.

For the Georgia folks ...NHC updated the track with the 11:00 advisory.
Comes up just west of Macon, heading pretty much due north, crosses right over Jackson, Conyers, and Snellville, takes a slight NW turn and skirts Lawrenceville on the west side.and heads toward Canton and Cleveland, TN.
My parents live in Griffin

Wishes he had bought bitcoin instead of that house in 2020. Bitcoin would now be worth $72 million.

East TN rainfall as handled by TVA; Douglas Lake is closest to the Great Smoky Mountains
quote:
The police department said on social media that Douglas Lake could rise by around 16 feet over the next few days, putting it back at full summer levels. The Tennessee Valley Authority previously said it is preparing for severe weather by storing water to help manage rivers, working to keep them from flooding while large amounts of rain falls.

My friends house in St Pete is about to be fricked. Still have a few hours before it stops rising. His dock is completely underwater now.
He is right on the bay
I see a truck in that picture.
I also see he lives by the "if it's got a note, let it float" motto with that truck
