Tampa would be absolutely fricked on a direct hit.

Baseline forecast for one of the big watersheds in the forecasted epicenter. Already tropical storm warnings (i.e., flood warnings) in effect for the New Belgium Brewing Company in Ashville.

Wonder if we'll see anything stronger than the 55G99 in Perry. They took the middle of the eyewall.

I also see he lives by the "if it's got a note, let it float" motto with that truck

I very seriously doubt he owes a dime on that truck or boat.

There you are. I figured as much. My property manager who lives in Cortez got spooked and evacuated this morning so I got no updates.

Any updates on the Cortez area?

Our place on LBK is raised about 2’ but it’s on the back side of the island so hopefully it’s ok. The dock needs to be replaced anyway so I’m not worried about that.

2 rental properties in Bayshore said they are good so far.

In that area? I doubt it.

Hell, you would too if you got slapped with 8 foot waves for a couple hours.

My shop is up the road and still has internet and power because I can still see my inside cameras. I dont see any thing going on in there.

I know they closed the bridges going over to AMI and the Perico Bay causway. I dont know anything after that. I will be driving out there to the shop and to check on my boat at daylight

Reporting in from Punta Gorda again.

The flooding down here is bonkers. Went out by bike 7 hours ago and the water had already flooded a few houses w/in a few blocks of charlotte harbor. That flooding has moved in probably a half a mile since then.

I think we hit the peak but it's crazy that the eye of the storm passed us by hours ago and over 100 miles off our coast, but those bands from the south kept shoving water into the harbor.

Yeah but maybe it’ll be like the one in grand isle for Ida that we’ll see a live shot tomorrow morning. We can hopefully know how #bluehouse is.
