Y'all need to stop telling people to get cars with CVT's. The shite emoji was specifically developed for the CVT.
A list of vehicles without the CVT:
No CVT

If I’m putting that many miles on a vehicle I’m buying Mpg and something with great tech
Honda Civic Touring with lane keep assist. Honda is closest to autopilot
Model 3 with auto pilot

Hyundai Elantra Hybrid all the way. Cheap and very high MPG. I think they don't look too bad either. Full of standard tech features it's a bargain.

My daily is ~70 miles. At new my car range was over 300 now it’s around 300 which still exceeds 70. Warranty says 100k to roughly 250miles so I’m ok with it

I drive 50 miles / day all highway in a Chevy Silverado. It’s not even that bad on gas, but I’m contemplating a Tesla. A guy I work with has one and I rode in it the other day. They’re very nice.

Just got a Honda accord hybrid. Getting 45 and a nice smooth drive.

Well, if you're looking for a high MPG vehicle, bend over and buy one of those EV's. Simple math:
#miles / #gallons
Any number of miles divided by "0" is infinity. Can't get more "mpg's" than that....Unless you want to get into higher math theory, but you don't sound smart enough for that.

I use to love my VW turbo diesel. 40+ mpg. Picked one up for around 5k with 180,000 miles and she finally blew a head gasket at 380,0000. I say got my money out of her.

Just rememeber. How you drive has a lot to do with it. If you buy a prius and go 80 plus. You probably wont get the best mpg it will do.
Can you get a vw blue motion polo in the usa? They do 74 mpg

I got a 130 mile commute every day
I bought a 2021 Kia Rio
nothing pretty, it's small and I average like 45 MPG going 85 everywhere

anything w/ radar cruise. Also some of the lane keep systems suck arse if you dont use your blinker everytime you switch lanes

Get a larger, more comfortable sedan with a standard (non turbo) ICE engine and a traditional stepped automatic. And change the engine oil and transmission fluid at or before the manufacturer's specified intervals.
So your primary option is Toyota Camry. It has a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine and a traditional automatic. It's an older, proven design and can get 35+ mpg on the highway if you are careful with the throttle. Unfortunately that's going to change soon because they are going with a smaller displacement turbo motor in the next redesign.
Your other option is the V6 version of the Dodge Charger. Don't let the brand fool you - this is an old Mercedes E class chassis whose design has been fairly static over the years. There aren't really any bugs left to work out, and the Chrysler pentastar V6 is actually a very good motor. The Charger is also extremely comfortable for highway cruising - definitely an advantage it has over the Camry. But it has a fuel economy penalty in that it will get 4-5 mpg less than a 4 cylinder Camry. But it does offer more comfort and power as a tradeoff.
If you are looking for used vehicles, you might be able to add in something like an Impala, Avalon, LaCrosse, Taurus, or the previous generation Honda Accord V6 - but they'll all get 30 mpg on the highway at best. Newer versions of these vehicles either don't exist or they've been replaced with CVT and turbo motor equipped models.
If you want to roll the dice on a turbo motor - I've found that the Chevy Malibu, Nissan Altima, and Hyundai Sonata are all surprisingly comfortable, quiet cruisers on the highway with very well baked infotainment systems. The Altima's CVT is notoriously unreliable so I'd stay away from it.

I have a fleet of hybrids 24 total, combo of Prius/Corolla/Camry.
Fleet avg mpg is a little over 40. Avg miles per year: 32,000. Lifespan of the vehicle is about 3 years before we flip it.
I drove the Prius for a while, can’t complain. It’s a decent vehicle to get around in. My only knock is me being cheap. I only buy the lowest trim model so the road noise can be a bit much. If you get a level higher than the ecos they are nice.

I’ve had 3 ford escape for company vehicles- they aren’t the best as far as comfort and driving but I haven’t had any mechanical issues.
I’d suggest Honda, Nissan, Hyndai etc

Honda Insight has been solid for me. Combined 52 mpg and you don't feel like you're getting blown off the road if an 18-wheeler is passing you on an overpass. And I never have to drop it into Sport, plenty of power in Default mode.

You don’t need a new vehicle, just drive 100mph everywhere, you will save so much gas. Thank me later.
