re: Heated exchange with neighbors (warning long story)

I used to live in a townhome and the complex had a stray cat problem. My neighbor insisted on leaving food out for the strays 24/7. The strays, attracted to our area by the food, would congregate in our general area. When I say strays, I don’t mean two or three. I mean 15-20 of these frickers. They would then shite in my flower bed. It was disgusting. I tried to talk to my neighbor to no avail. It got so bad between he and I that we no longer even spoke and it almost came to blows over a parking spot situation one day. Anyway, finally I had enough. I began trapping the strays and having the pound come pick them up every day. He was pissed about this and said I should find them a home. frick that, I continued to send them all to their certain death at animal control. Now, I’m not a cat hater like some of you. I’m fact, I had two cats at the time that were inside animals and loved them dearly. To enact my revenge, I began collecting the cat shite from my cats litter box. In time, I collected enough cat shite to completely fill a Royal Oak charcoal bag as well as a Pringles can full of cat shite. After he left for work one morning, I jumped the fence and poured all the cat turds all over his porch and steps. I figured if his cats could shite in my yard, then my cats would effectively shite in his.
He and I never spoke again after that. He avoided me like the plague. He wouldn’t look at me, speak to me, or even be in my near vicinity. Most importantly, I never saw cat food outside his house again, which is all I wanted in the first place.

Your front yard is in the need for a five gallon dumping of cayanne pepper so the dog won’t sniff around on your lawn anymore.

I wouldn’t have called the police on you, but I would have rubbed that dogs shite all over you and your house.
Now y’all are feuding neighbors. Good job.
BTW, it’s ok to give the dog crap back in a bag, but not through the mail slot.

Hey man, I’m just telling the story how it happened. I guess I had a old Pringles can laying around and started putting shite in it.

Yeah, it was justified, but they probably feel they won somehow after calling the cops on you.
Next time take a photo of the dog in the act and send it via certified mail instead of risking trespassing and vandalism. Honestly, doing that in the first place would’ve been funnier and may have resulted in an apology and cooperation from them. Now they hate you and are probably plotting revenge.

Had an elderly couple from Virginia move in 3 years ago. Soon as summer came, the couple wanted to argue about a butterfly bush my wife planted 5 years b4. I went inside and pulled out the property assessment showing the property line. They claimed the realtor told them it's their slice of property. I told him he could pay $250.00 like I did and get an appraisal. He argued more. I finally told him if he such as mowed the grass on that slit I'd sue him. Haven't talked to them again. It was worth it! Don't have to fake friendship!

If you have a county animal control check the laws. Put dog on video with no leasch using the bathroom in your yard.
In most areas this would be a nusiance violation and violation on leasch law.
Send pictures and video to your county animal control filing a complaint which if you do this they will follow up.
Typically they would get fined the first time The it escalates to going to court for larger fines.

Get your hands on some insulin and a syringe. Give dog a big shot of insulin. It will be peaceful. Problem solved.

Sounds like typical Virginians from the city. Try to send them back, we don't need them on our voter rolls.

You could be my neighbor any day with those actions

Just get a shovel and fling it back in their yard

When I was a kid we had a neighbor with a mastiff or some sort of gigantic mutt and it was always leaving huge surprises in our yard.
Well one night my dad catches the dog mid shite with it's owner holding the leash. She started to walk off and my dad asked her if she planned to clean that up and she laughed.
He picked it up with a shovel and slung it against their garage door. It went everywhere. It looked like a dog shite jackson pollock.
That dog never stepped foot in our yard again and never another word was said about it either.
Miss ya Dad.

I like what you did. Would I do it? Probably not but its still funny. How did they know you did it. If they dont have proof, then tell them do what you gotta do.

I’m a dog lover and you were justified in your actions. frick em.
I used to pick up the pile of crap and place it by the drivers door of their car.

I bet they won't let their dog poop in your yard any more. However, next time you see the dog crap on your lawn, take a photo for evidence.

Not a bad idea. You should take a shite in a bag and start dumping it in their yard. Sprinkle a little corn on it so they know it’s human shite.

You have shitty neighbors but you are a immature a-hole and we would be meeting up at Sonic. That's why I avoid talking to neighbors, nothing good can come from it.

"Friends over for football" sounds like a drinking event, and in that case I would have waited to make a decision.
