You should have taken a pic or video, gone and showed it to them and told them if it happens again you are contacting the appropriate people (HOA? police? I dont know). I could see putting the shite back in their yard but putting it through the mail slot was a bit much.

My dog drops deuces in peoples front yards while we are on walks. I always bag it and throw it away. Trashy as freak to let ones dog crap and leave it...

First, can they prove that you did it?

If he keeps shitting in your yard, do it again and again.. If you do get fined, it would be worth it.

Next time the dog drops one in your yard and you catch it in action, video it.

Does their front door open out? If not, how did they step in it? Wouldn’t the door have pushed it out the doorway?
