But it isn't. The bulk of my money comes from suppliers who pay to sell their product. I'm commission and incentive based and that money comes from suppliers. The ones who aren't paying our health insurance.
And with this free insurance shite comes increased taxes. It would all even out.

I am suggesting that health care shouldn't be free.
It's not free and someone has to pay for it.
I really think it should be a part of our taxes and handled like Canada and damn near every European country does.
I also really think that the amount everyone pays in taxes doesn't need to change to make this happen. Maybe take a look at our disproportionate spending on our military. The military isn't free and someone has to pay for it, too. Well I sure as hell would prefer healthcare coverage over military coverage on the other side of the globe.

It would be a lot less than the premium they wanted me to pay.

same here. if you are healthy and not hooked on big pharma's goodies just go without. Penalty is what 2% of income? If you want to live you'll pony that over without pause
