Step one: Divorce.
Step two: DO NOT list a father on the birth certificate.
Step three: She quits job to raise kid. Medicaid, WIC=BANK!

Bc your costs aren’t in direct relation to the people who are getting stuff for free - it’s about your insurance plan and greedy hospitals

Usually (not always) there are more jobs under Republicans - so if people are working, not so much free stuff is needed - if free stuff is cut out, people need jobs to take care of themselves

And you see this lack of self-sufficiency in "needing" a job as being better than the lack of self-sufficiency in "receiving" free stuff?

Why?

Seems that the argument becomes who wants to be porch dogs and who wants to be plow mules.

Get rid of insurance and sign up for a prescription club and pay cash for regular doctor appointments. If it's something serious then have everything done at a not for profit hospital. Pay what you want. Watch your savings grow.

Yes.

Because people should have pride in their work and integrity. (I’m not talking about truly disabled people)

It actually sounds like your insurance is kinda shite. I have great benefits. I don’t pay anything out of pocket for doctors, specialists or anything as long as it’s In Network

I went back and answered above.

Is this an essay test? Why the interrogation?People should just be given everything by the government, and not have to work? Why is that?

It is now, when most of the time you have to pay a ton out of pocket for the insurance to even kick in.

Most employers tilt the coverage in their favor.

Health Insurance isn't a scam. Health Care is. You'll wish you had health insurance when you have to pay tens of thousands out of pocket for an ambulance ride, surgery, long hospital stay...

I have a high deductible plan. It’s $3600 for the family then they cover 80%.

If that’s truly the best insurance you can get from your job, you may as well get a plan from the marketplace. Sounds like y’all just didn’t plan this very well.

so the fact that i agreed to pay amount x in event of y means i don't have the right to be upset when people who get everything at no cost to them, boosting my costs in the process.

how do you figure that?

I'm still not sure why you're whining about a cost you knew about and signed up for.

Because you were incarcerated or you’re not a citizen? Because legit pretty much anyone can get marketplace insurance. Hell, I ran my info thru and while I wouldn’t get subsidies, I can certainly get a plan.
