It's funny how actors and actresses that try to pull back the curtain on Hollywood's culture somehow end up dead soon after. RIP, young lady.

Is this really a big revelation anymore? Figured it was sort of assumed by now.

There are a lot of terrible hot takes in this thread.

I didn't read the thread

Even the NY Post put cardiac arrest in quotation marks for a reason.

She OD'd and her heart gave out

Lack of ridicule and shame has led us to where we are now.

Some version of this is certainly a contributing factor. I’d state it more the diminution of tight extended family units and small communities and structures (church, school, civic orgs) as the central governing bodies for humans. Within that structure is the value of the family name and the sense of shame that would inevitably result from immoral and unethical acts.
Now we just see everyone’s laundry all over the world at all times. We are desensitized. These aren’t people we see every day in our communities.

This is a generalization. Obviously these communities and structures and families still exist.

But they aren’t what govern the age.

Eta: and my post has nothing to do with Panettiere in particular, as I know her only by names of shows and movies I’ve never watched, and what is posted above.
And downvoting without addressing content fit perfectly the modern disease and noetic effects of human depravity in a digital age.

She did die in the lofts where we go sometimes for kid stuff (play cafe, climbing wall etc).

Very sad to hear of anyone dying at this age. Sounds like she’s been fighting demons for a long time.

He was 28. He had an enlarged heart and aortic complications of some sort. I would assume she would have had some testing done after that to rule out any issues, but who knows what people will do. Whatever the cause, this is sad for her family and her child in particular.

Those kids get thrown into an adult world, usually deviant ones, usually with overbearing parents who don't have their best interests at heart...recipe for disaster

I put the full blame on the heathenistic Hollywood "adults".
God really should burn Hollywood down. It's been a scary on a decent society for all and definitely a disaster for young children that have cast into the fiery pits of the entertainment industry.

Wasn't she rumored to be one of those Hollywood starlets who became a high priced escort for the foreign oligarch set?

Sounds like a movie plot.

If your kids want to act, tell their asses to do school plays until they are 18.

Plus there's no such thing as pairs of three. A pair is two, three is a trio. Pairs of three would be at least six people dead at a time.

I'll never get why people type "who" in these threads while on a device that could answer that question in a second. . She wasn't super famous. She was the main character in Heroes and a star of Nashville.

It’s also stupid because there’s no such thing as “pair of 3.”

Blame Hollywood all you want, but at some point you have to blame the actresss/actors who let it change them.

No one held a gun to these people’s heads and forced them to get into Hollywood. They willingly did it, and most of them made money that the average working class person could only ever dream of making. That’s why it’s hard for me to feel sorry for these people.

She has also claimed she was groomed by people in Hollywood. She had, unfortunately, what we know as a pretty typical famous child actor life with associated issues and demons.
