Having seen a video like that, I’d consider myself informed on the epistemological happenings of millennial women, too. You got a link?

It would take more work to separate his clothes out to make him wash them himself than it would to just wash all the clothes. I'd rather be dead than married to this woman. Dear God.

My wife (no pics) has the best saying about her cooking (doesn’t use recipes)-

“If you loved it, great! Sorry I can’t remember how to make it again. If you hated it, well, I can’t remember how to make it again .” I can say with certainty that the former far outweighs the latter after her meals.

I’ve got the same kind of wife. She can whip up something damn good every now and then, but she can’t recreate it to save her life.

It’s weird, because my mom uses a few recipes from my great grandmother and I could get her to make something from her cook book and it will taste the same to me as it did 30 years ago.

I don’t want my wife doing my laundry. She’s awful at it, just like she is awful at cooking. I don’t desire half assed production, I’d rather just do it myself.

It makes you happy, I bet. It's awesome he just lets you do what makes you happy without super stressing over what he thinks he should do because of judgement from others.

Part of a relationship is learning when to forget what you (husband) want (I must do XYZ, it's my role!) if it makes your partner happy to do something. Let them do it. Cooking for my kids is important, not because my kids used to particularly care, but because I do. I've directly told them this (11 &13) and they seem to get it even if they don't say much other than, "you pick what's for dinner." Hell yeah. It helps that I don't suck at it.

I still look at mine the same way whether she's making something or walking through the door with Chick-Fil-A.

Honestly this thread makes me appreciate mine. Things are pretty great. In a world full of constant, negative shite, it's so great.

Mine lets me handle the grill, which is most of the cooking at my house.

I’m better at it.

I’m sure it doesn’t hurt if she can cook and bake.

fine, but making a two-minute video, about your triumphs over the patriarchy, doesn't make you a strong woman, it makes you a selfish bitch.

I'm very fortunate to have a wife that can throw down in the kitchen. When we first moved in together, I think I put on at least 15 lbs. She's always trying something new as well, and has been knocking it out the park lately. Usually on Sunday she will make 2 or 3 meals and a breakfast for the week. Wife is not a baker though because she doesn't like to follow strict cooking directions, so I am starting to delve into that.

They aren't. Almost half of men below 40 aren't getting married or don't have plans too. Another 10 percent are marrying foreign women.

It's very rare to find an American woman that isn't fat, entitled, incompetent, or lazy.

My husband won’t let me wash his clothes. All because I left a pen in his pocket 10 years ago.

I’m curious to see these breakfasts she makes.

Bet a dollar it’s cereal or a bar of some sort out of a box.

Yep he did. But I get the blame for it.

He’s slowly letting me cook more though. He’s a great cook and super picky so it’s a compliment if he eats what I cook.

If you have that you are a really lucky man

Not so fast my friend. I had that for years. My ex wife cooked dinner regularly and she was a great cook but she was also sloppy drunk by 6pm every evening and she was cheating on me so I left her. Now I don't have anyone to cook for me but I'm much better off.

I'd bet that your wife has many other qualities that are far more important than her timely cooking. Congratulations baw. Sounds like you got a keeper.
