The most entertained I've ever been by national pride/hate was between a Colombian woman and an Argentinian woman I knew. They were both smoke-shows, the Colombian slightly moreso, but I digress. It happened during the 2014 World Cup at a week long party a buddy of mine was throwing at his lake house on Lake Ouachita. It may have been trashy, but two bikini-clad spanish women having a cat fight with broken spanish/english insults being hurled was quite the sight.

Colombian men and Argentine men get along pretty well in my experience. So that would explain why the women hate each other.

I wish I could speak to both, but I did leave there with a newfound infatuation with Argentinian women. Second only to Filipino women, imo, in the lengths they will go to affirm that a man is taken care of.

True story: My daughter got married at Nottoway Plantation. I knew she was inviting several of her friends and co-workers who happen to be black and also that one of her maids-of-honor is black.
I told her before we signed the contract with Nottoway (and paid the non-refundable deposit) that she needed to sample her friends to make sure they would not be offended at attending her wedding at a former plantation house.
She did that and all of the people she asked laughed at her question. They thought she was joking to ask them such a silly question.

My wedding reception was on the exact spot slave quarters used to be. They used the old slave well as part of a backdrop for some of our wedding photos.
