Do you just accept it "as is" and realize that if you use the internet, your anonymity isn't so anonymous?
For instance, I have found bits of information about me on Spokeo, PeopleLooker, MyLife, BeenVerified and a few others, despite never using those sites or giving permission to them.
How does one remove themselves on-line other than actually removing themselves from on-line?

90% of results are of my rich Uncle whose name is pretty similar to mine. Our last name is unique.

My number doesn't link with my name on any free sites. Maybe if you paid, IDK. Googling my name pulls up some accurate information, but along with so much inaccurate and in some cases wildly wrong data that it would be hard for anyone to get a fix on me.

4th search result had a complete listing of every phone number I have had and each of the cities I have lived in since HS.

There was one place it was called "Life" something...Can't remember the second word...Had quite a bit of info on me..They must have gone to Linkin... I called them to get that stuff off of there.. They did take it down. I did check off the "don't share info with third party" with Linkin. That is the only place I could think of with that info on me.
