The bricks were more 1990ish. I had a Nokia, not sure the model, then went to the old STARTAC in 96/97

Yea, that one pulled up a lot of info on me and my in-laws first and middle names. A little creepy.

Googling my name pulls up some accurate information, but along with so much inaccurate and in some cases wildly wrong data that it would be hard for anyone to get a fix on me.
This is the best case scenario.
If your name us John Smith you get lost in the shuffle.
If you have an uncommon name, the more incorrect but harmless information the better. Might even be good to intentionally flood the Web with decoys.

My name doesn't pop up but on multiple sites it has my number listed on profiles for some lady named Renee.... kind of strange since ive had this number for 9 years

My last name is neither common nor especially uncommon, but I have a very unusual first name. There are at least three people in this state, and dozens all over the country with my exact name. One of them (no relation) is the same age and lives within 50 miles of me.

Sorry to hear that, man.
Can I have your stuff?

Sounds about right, the show ended in 93 after I looked it up.
If I could get away with not having a mobile phone right now, I would. Just telling the folks from work that I wasn't home.... simpler times.

My first phone was a bag phone for the vehicle. Back in 92 or so, from Altell paid like $40 a month, had 10 minutes of talk time. I still have that phone number, though obviously with a different phone.

When I google my cellphone number, my wife’s name comes up. I’m guessing because many years ago, our cellphone bill was in her name.
My name pulls up LinkedIn profiles of about 8 people who share my name, followed by a HS football player who seems to be pretty good, followed by some publication for yacht enthusiasts.

Lucky for me, there is an actor with my name, and apparently a beloved traveling veterinarian who recently passed away.
