Found this out this weekend. I had forgotten all about the change of ownership. Girl told me "we don't serve onion rings..." I looked around me and asked her "is this Popeye's?" then looked at the menu, and sure enough.
What's Popeye's without onion rings, even the inferior ones they started serving fifteen or so years ago?
Got rid of the snack wraps, too. However, we make those ourselves. One #7 and a pack of tortillas, and two of us can eat for 7 bucks.

Their red beans seem to be less flavorful, I think they are using less ham base now. The chicken is about the same although it seems like their spicy chicken used to be spicier years ago. Service seems to be improving too.

They better not change the red beans. We have an agreement (In my mind) on what they should taste like. They cannot renege now.

Nope. I'm lucky because the Popeye's by me only has space for one car to pull up. They rarely ask people to pull up though
