I’ve created payment plans for people that I’ve gone on trips with that didn’t have the cash flow to pay in a single installment. It was never a bad thing and I was happy to make things easier on them.

Generally, these were recent college grads that were making $30-40K.

Yes. Both ends. If it is true love, it is fine.

If it is the monthly hairstylist or cocktail waitress, hell no.

Sometimes I pay the check when BF and I go out to dinner, just to annoy him LOL.

Of course. Lent my ex boyfriend a couple grand when his check was suddenly and unexpectedly garnished by the IRS. He paid it back shortly afterwards. Just look at it as a gift, however. I believe in helping out a partner for a legit reason; not for something frivolous like gambling or beer money.

Hey Diva! How’s Florida weather today? It’s a scorcher down here in New Orleans.

Six months or so went by with no mention of it, but I had moved off to work and we split. So I wrote her a letter and asked for it.

I bet her side of the story is more truthful. She dumped you, which hurts your feelings, so you decided to be petty and make a big deal out of a $100. Loser

It got up to 91° on the mainland. It's beautiful here on the beach, sunny 84°. I spent the afternoon on the beach, just came inside to fix supper.

An ex gf asked (jokingly?) to borrow a large sum of money. Broke up a month later. Feels like I dodged a bullet there

I loaned $100 to a woman who had a great arse.

She never paid me back.

I wish I would have just offered $400 in exchange for sex in a nice hotel room.

I got a girl pregnant once, and gave her $10,000 to disappear.

Never someone I was dating as a loan. Like said by others, it's a gift.

Now, I have loaned money to friends and family in the past and it's about 60-40 on the payback, with 60 being the side that did return my money.

As a general rule of life I dont lend money to anyone.

If I have money to give I give it unconditionally, and expect to never see it again.

If you are dating as in just met and started talking, that's a weird situation.

If in a relationship...that's you girl if she needs your help you find a way to help. Or another guy will happily step in and do it for you. Capitalism bro. Deal with it.

Loaned 5K to a girl I wanted to bang. Never hit it and she did pay it back.

She did a cost benefit analysis and decided she'd rather pay the money back
