Have You Ever Gotten Screwed Over By Someone You Knew?

When I say someone you knew/know, I mean like a friend, family member, co-worker...
This was something I was talking about today, which inspired this thread, but this guy I went to school with, he went on to play baseball at ULL. He was there for two years and decided to join the Navy. Thing is, he never told anyone he was going to the Navy.
So the night before he was leaving he decided to have a card game at his place. We had probably had the average amount playing.. 8 or 9 people... Anyway, so as the night goes on he loses all of his money and asked if he could play on credit.
He got more chips and lost them all and then everyone agreed to let him play on credit one more time (we were at his place and from time to time that would happen and the person pays up to the people they own, in a reasonable time). The night came to an end and he must of owned about $300 split up across several people (if I recall he owed me the least amount, it wasn't anymore than $20, but he owned one person over $150).
A few days later someone found out he left to join the Navy. He called a card game at his place, lost his money, probably had more on it but knowing he was leaving in the morning, he asked to play on credit and lost.. So everyone he owed money to never received it.
This is him know.

Yup
Dude I had known since I was 10. Lived up the road. Hung out with him all through high school. Went to a party with him and some of his friends and his friends jumped me and one of my other friends for no reason. Just dumbasses wanting to fight. He wouldn't drive us home after. He then drove one of the guys who jumped us to the house then drove off with him because he was scared of going toe to toe.
Haven't talked to him since. He is one of the only people who I'd be glad to beat the frick out of. I doubt I'd be able to stop myself. My face is still crooked from being beat by 4 or 5 guys that night

I seriously doubt even a child killer would want to be friends with you

That should have been a red flag right there.

I didn't read your wall of text, but if you are over the age of 15 then, yes, you have been screwed over at some point in your life.

I used to smoke pot after school everyday, one time my sister was visiting from college and we had been smoking all weekend long. Monday comes and I have to go to school, I tell her she can smoke some of my stuff but just leave me one bowl for when I get home.
She smoked it all and then left, I called her when I got home and she was already two hours away and said she smoked the rest of it. It was crushing on many different levels, one that I had been generous and it blew up in my face, and also because it was a lot harder to get weed back then. I was sad, angry, and also not high.
