Many, many times. Usually with the borrowing of money. I learned if I lend someone money think of it as a giving them a gift.

I was dating this girl in the late 90’s here in BR. After a year or so, she asked to move in. Reluctantly, I said ok since she offered to contribute towards bills (which she never did). Long story short, she stole my identity, ran up a credit card in my identity, stole blank checks out of my checkbook, owed most women’s store at the Mall of LA...the way I found out was when I went to write a check and noticed the next check was out of sequence. Called the bank, saw that it was written to a nail salon. I then looked the the remaining blank checks and saw many missing. The bank said those had already been cashed. I got copies of the cashed checks, busted her and made her immediately move out. The funny part, she portrayed herself as a good person. She’s “Miss high society” on FB and runs with the socialites in BR to this day.
