The state limit in Louisiana is $5k per person.

Edit: when donating to a PAC, which was the case.

How else do you know I’m lying?

Individuals, relatives of candidates, legal entities (including most corporations) and small PAC's may contribute up to $5,000 to candidates for a "major office" - statewide positions, as well as several judicial, education and other offices in the state's largest metropolitan areas. They're limited to contributing $2,500 to candidates for a "district office" (including seats in the state legislature and many official positions in mid-sized metro areas) and $1,000 to candidates for any other office.

but not in cash

because campaign finance law requires you have proof

so they write checks,, which mean you did not walk around with 75,000 in your pocket

Hell no. And never will.

If you are not a millionaire and don't need any type of political connections, if you donate to a political campaign, IMO it's no different than sending your money to a televangelist.

And why would anyone donate to Trump? This isn't about party or whether you like him or not, it's about the fact he is a billionaire.

Oh for the love of god. Yes, it was in checks. That was implied because anyone with half a pulse would know that. Please show me where I said I walked around with that money in cash.

I was something around 19 years old and walking around with that amount of money IN CHECKS was nerve racking enough. I was always worried I would lose them.

The only politician I've ever donated money to is Ron Paul.

you said ou were walking out with 75,000 to 100,000 dollars in your pocket

that implies cash

you might have walked out with 75,-100,000 in contributions

but no one could do anything with those checks so there was nothing to fear

Hell, I handled big time campaigns and the most I help was 10,000 cash in brown paper bag
the congresswoman was happy to see me

No, it really doesn’t imply cash. I figured it was common knowledge that political contributions are typically given in check form at events of that nature.

Thus far the only people who assumed I meant cash were you and OweO....so that’s the company you’re in right now.
