My woman's parents immigrated from Cambodia after their father was killed by Pol Pot. They have thick asian accents and they hate me because I'm white....but they feed me so it kinda balances out. We have been together for 10 years and have 2 kids but every Christmas they send a gift card for us to spend on the kids for what the call "our white holiday "lol.

Adequate pho. Her Mom makes great pho and her sister's is legendary. Mrs Pimp makes the best spring rolls and Vietnamese egg rolls. Gotta love that rice paper.
My elderly in-laws are great people. They sponsored over two dozen refugees (gave them a place to live-fed them, got them jobs) and so they have great status in the Vietnamese community. My mother-in -law is closer to me than my own mom. Mrs Pimp is also the only one to marry outside her race, so they were very skeptical, and now they are extremely close with my kids so they feel like I gave them that a bit maybe. So they are REALLY nice to me. I love them so much. Just great simple people from another time and place. My father in law is just as much 19th Century Indochinese as he is 21st century American and I find him to be a link to a world that no longer exists. He's OLD school.

Yeah she was just making stupid generalizations about white people probably. Be glad you weren't black. The word is (sp) prounced me-dang and sometimes when they watch the news they get on a roll.

I have found out from my friends that date asian women is that they are incredibly expensive to keep around. At least the hot ones.

Three Chinese (one Hong Konger, a Taiwanese, and a mainlander), a Viet, and a Korean. All were born and raised in their home countries and came here as adults.
The Vietnamese chick was the freakiest IMHO but none of them were shy, that's for sure.
