Dating an Asian woman is the same as dating a white woman. Just flesh and bone. Human beings. Not just sex objects in a rap video, yo. Just sisters, wives, Moms, daughters. Except for the sexy ones in rap videos, lol.
Myth. The word subservient is always used wrong in these "asian women" threads. In virtually every "Asian" culture women run the home . What you are referring to is that Asian women generally approve of gender roles and enthusiastically play their role. They want their men to go out and kill something and drag it home like a man. And they will keep the house on lock-down.
And that's without accounting for all the huge differences between various countries. Mrs Pimp (from Viet Nam) is nothing like a Japanese woman for instance. And neither is she a "Tiger Mom". She just expects the man to be the man and the woman to be the woman. Asian women, being the most feminine of the races imho,just aren't raging against nature. But neither are they subservient. You haven't seen anger until you haves seen how dark an Asian woman's eyes can get when she's mad at you. The Dragon Lady is a real thing.

Did the Indian thing. Girl was hot, house absolutely reeked of curry, and the parents were generally good to me, at least to my face. Warning: you will likely get punked for an Indian guy down the line and there are princess issues to deal with.

I dated a Laotian. She immigrated in high school. Her family were super friendly and the best cooks I've ever met in my life. They always had a huge garden and chickens running around in the back yard. Other than the food and the broken English, they were perfectly normal. She actually ended up marrying a guy a my wife knows. She still looks 18 even though she's in her 30's.

Vietnamese. She was cool. Her parents were cool. Dad was former SVA soldier who made it over here after the Commies took over and had some insane stories of the war. The grandmother, who seemed to be a hundred, didn't like me one bit though. Always cussing at me in Vietnamese so I avoided her like the plague. Something about her village getting burnt down. I don't recall the house smelling funny but it seemed like they constantly had a couple of hundred pounds of rice in their pantry. Had seven siblings so the home was always a madhouse.

In almost 30 years, I have never heard a Vietnamese woman (born in Viet Nam) cuss other than Mrs Pimp a handful of times and said for real effect. Mrs Pimp just won't do it. Vietnamese culture is way more passive/aggressive than aggressive. They come at you in a way that keeps you guessing, and women generally don't use profanity.

I'll take your word for it, Pimp. I don't know what she was saying but when I asked I was generally advised that she didn't like me and best to not try to talk to her. Whatever it was, she wasn't happy.
