SUBVETS in Connecticut has a clubhouse with a full bar. The old vets always bought rounds. Beer and shots were like $1 each so it wasn't that big of a deal. If you bought a round they would sound the klaxon. Every now and then an old sub vet from out of state would call on the phone and buy a round just to hear the klaxon. Between all the free shite and cheap booze you could get hammered there for <$20. Man I miss that place.

Charles Barkley bought the entire upstairs of the bar "Bourbon Street" in Auburn a round one time. It was amazing, had to have been 200 people upstairs.

Not a round, but two old ladies bought our dinner at the riverboat casino in Baton Rouge several years ago. Our flight landed, and I was starving. We were looking for a place to eat, saw a billboard for the casino, and figured there would be food and drinks there. We ended up winning about $450 at a blackjack table in under an hour, and got up to go eat. Got to talking to these women at the bar. My dad tried to get the bartender's attention on the sly and tell him to put their meal on our tab. He laughed and told us that they had beat us to the punch about 5 minutes ago. And we had ordered several drinks, an appetizer each, a big meal, and desserts. I'm sure it was a couple hundred just for our meal.

Yes, in college.
My buddy's dad had recently left his mom. We had his dad's credit card. We broke the bar's record for highest tab.

A lot of times early in college at rush parties if that counts
As an adult out of college? Once. At an airport bar with about 25 of us there. Probably 3/4th of us took the whiskey shot. Our Southwest flight was postponed on a Friday night in the Nashville airport by 2 hours and most of us were on that flight.

Yes. In Vail at a bar called "The Club." Someone also ordered pizza for every table in the bar the same night. There was 80-100 people in there.

I was at Salsaritas one night back in 2007 and some drunk guy night everyone a shot. Maybe 25-30 people. I won't $1500 one night in Vegas and bought drinks for random people that night.

Not a bar but i was at a Mexican restaurant and this dude had a few too many margaritas and decided to buy everyone there a shot of vodka. Most people were just there eating with their family or friends, a total of like 3 people actually took the shot and the rest of us were like frick this its 630pm on a Tuesday. I think the dudes tab came out to like $160 for basically no reason at all.
Must have been Taaka or a terrible Mexican restaurant

Was at Rose's in Golden Meadow at the bar one night and had an old man from the UK talking to us about the MNF game and asking general questions which we were more than happy to converse about. There were 5 of us and we ordered apps, meals, beers with a running tab. When the old man got up to leave in the third quarter he covered our tabs and left 2 $100 bills one for the bartender and the other to cover our drinks for the rest of the night.

You and your dad ended up banging the 2 old ladies, didn't you?
It's ok, this is a safe place. You can tell us.

I was bartending one day when a guy bought a round. I was a bit skeptical, since I had never seen him, but he then pulled out a $100 bill.

The owner of a local bar bought everyone a shot a few months ago.
It was cool, the shot wasn't very good though.
