Haha, I actually know Skip’s niece and she says he’s really nothing like his personality in real life. They are a very close family and don’t even discuss sports or politics at family events. It’s like a family policy any time they get together. They also all put their money together for the entire family. It’s pretty cool really.
Not a fan of Skip, but he’s done well for himself.

I caught his first episode and I've been on the bandwagon ever since. Instead of the hetero gene he may have got an extra clutch gene. Dude is money.

I haven't seen an episode with him, but I dig him. A nice break from the wooden nerds that struggle to get through the 30 second "Show America You're a Human" introduction segment.

He's like a daily double magnet. he usually has like a $1,000 lead coming out of regular jeopardy then finds a category to dominate, gets a daily double and risks it all to double his money, finds the other daily double and risks half of his money and wins that one too.
After that no one has a chance.
I like him BTW - he's an odd duck and makes the show entertaining.

Trebek definitely threw a passive aggressive shot at him in yesterday’s intro. Paraphrasing it was something like - yeah Austin has been good but today’s challengers don’t give a s***

I saw him on gma yesterday. He said he has done hour and hours of research and noticed patterns on the questions. Very interesting and it looks like the jeopardy folks are going to have to mix it up now.

He is awesome. Most of the contestants are pussies and don't take any risks on the Daily Doubles. He finds them and crushes the others contestants. He has a large knowledge base as well.
