I’ve said forever we need to make public executions a free public Saturday event.
Sell hotdogs and tshirts. Do it at courthouse front steps.

If we had always made federal executions available to watch live, to show these religious terrorists that death awaits them if they try to attack America,

I'm saying we all agree that the death penalty is not going to be a deterrent to people like the ones that flew planes into buildings on 911.
So, making a public spectacle out of this guy's execution probably does more harm than good if the goal is to dissuade those types from committing other murders in the U.S.
Now someone like a Timothy McVeigh that murdered 19 children in a daycare along with another 160 adults killed and 600 or so injured.
We should have put him in a cage and set him on fire on national tv. I would have paid $100 to see that.
That would be a deterrent to that type of killer who isn't so sure that death as a martyr leads to 40 virgins.
Understand the motivations of your killer and act accordingly.

Yeah, you right. But if we are going to televise this, can we at least have an undercard of other executions. I'd like to see some other methods so we can decide which one is the most satisfying, let's hang Mangione and lethal injection for Tyler Robinson. They haven't had their trials yet? Big deal, we know they did it, why delay. While we're at it, let's finish off that bitch Pike, she didn't like lethal injection, haul out old sparky, but turn out the lights so we can see her light up.

I don’t believe the execution will happen at all. Some federal judge will block it.
