I am a self employed advisor/consultant/sales guy. I have ground to a standstill. Clients suddenly refuse to see me, they refuse to see anybody. My expenses however, remain the same. I'm getting crushed.

However, money is money. In the end it's a stressful setback, not life and death. There are two funerals in my extended family this week. That's the real stuff.

We have more appointments scheduled his week than we have in a while. Our office reeks of Lysol and there's a big bottle of hand sanitizer by the front door.

Work in purchasing at a food distributor. We are getting slammed...it's insane. People need to stop panic buying. The food supply will be fine. Stores have been telling us they had more sales last week than the week before Christmas.

Luckily I got stuck at work when all this blew up so I'm still making money. Unfortunately, if the virus doesnt get my arse, the Saudis will.

I'm an RN and averaging 18,000+ steps at work each day. This corona stuff is wearing all of us out. With the same pay.

I'm in IT and we're having the whole workforce work from home for the first time ever. We've been a bit slammed.

I work in an online business and we are doing more because a lot of our partners can't conduct business in person right now, so they are sending business to us.

Yes things have slowed down tremendously, my clientele are domestic but I also do quite a bit of international business which has come to a complete halt.

My domestic business is interrupted because people are afraid to travel, restaurants are closed and hotels aren’t deemed safe. This shite really fricking sucks

Well, good luck to all of you. My company certainly isn't immune but likely one of the least impacted. I hate to see this for everyone.

I don't think any of us ever imagined anything like this.

US Marshal

It's made things crazy as f*ck. There's been many times I've felt like I'm living in an episode of Reno 911 lately.

This pandemic is really bringing some of the crazies out who would otherwise be minding their own business, not to mention the stupid new protocols we now have in place for the "prevention of spreading the disease."

The past few days have been different just because we are essentially implementing our hurricane plan and switching everyone to remote, office by office. IT has been making the rounds with VPN and software updates. We anticipate a dramatic slowdown in business, and then an atomic explosion once this is over. Hopefully things will even out in the end. Money will be tight at least in the short term and we do not intend on laying anyone off.

Frankly I am a little excited at the prospect of catching up on a lot of things, clean out my office, etc. May not ever get an opportunity like this again. Also have a lot of projects to get done around the house. Gonna do a lot of fishing too.

I got two important emails today. One for the official notice of a bid I've been working for the last year that will be millions in revenue over 2 years. The other letting me know my company is furloughing our work time to every other week. Extra stress, half the time, half the pay.

No. It’s been horrible. We have little rules built into the system that function as alarms. There are “this should be fricking impossible” alarms. And we are getting multiple a day

Kind of. I work as a technical recruiter. My larger corporation clients are holding up on hiring anyone new until May. No change in the smaller regional customers. Hopefully this blows by then and doesn't run deep into the summer.
