This video pretty much sums up the Marigny. You have it all.

1. White liberal hipsters most likely from the Northeast or Pacific Northwest
2. Black guys playing instruments from a second line
3. White homeless person bugging everyone
4. A one on one fight breaks out between a White guy & a Black guy causing 3 other Black guys to jump in & immediately hit the White guy
5. No NOPD anywhere to be scene

What a horrible "fight" video.

And IMO it didn't look like the black band dudes ganged up on the white dude. It looked like they were trying to pull their buddy off of him, even in the end again when he wanted to keep it going, the other dude with him was like nah go this way, homie.

Yea that fight didn't look bad at all. And the other blacks didnt really "jump" him like I was expecting. I didn't listen with volume and have no other context, but I think i'm leaning towards siding with the black dudes. Shooing away dudes playing jazz on the sidewalk in front of your bar? That's kinda what Frenchmen St is all about. Im sure they were being annoying, but that's what you signed up for.

Those roving groups of “second lines” (that really aren’t) are turning into the FQ version of annoying grifting mariachi bands. There’s many other places for them to roam without interrupting a bar’s music.

Yeah, this thread seems almost like bizarre negative wishcasting. Video was not what I expected at all. Does seem incredibly stupid for the white guy to have wanted to escalate at all.
