If not, then why? Does she not believe COVID spreads at rap concerts or whatever?

Who plays BR anymore? That’s what Houston is for now.

Most big acts hit NOLA and possibly Laffy instead.

Not sure if the Killshaw family still controls promotion there but they had a rep for being assholes and it contributes to the Centroplex / River Center generally being passed over.

Last time I remember an act I really wanted in terms of popular music played the Centroplex had to be when Guns N Roses and Soundgarden played circa 1992.

Most shite which could actually draw went to UNO Lakefront or the Cajundome instead.

They still have large mainstream, yet black-centric shows at the Centroplex from time to time.

BR’s own Lolapalooza happening this weekend?
Or maybe does she have her own birthday party planned this weekend?

The media is completely cool with it as long as it’s not a bunch of white bikers having a meet up.

Newsboys with guests and King + Country as well. Both are great christian bands.

Also saw the Fluffy dude and Katt Williams coming in terms of standup comedy.

Deputy Mayor
We are lucky enough to have Lamont Cole in that capacity

He “lives” in a 500 per month apartment right inside his district while his wife & kids live a block away in a McMansion.

For as long as I’ve been here, so at least fifteen years, yes.

Is this true? That sounds like it may possibly be illegal unless we are to believe that he literally has decided to live separately from his family in order to retain a city council position?

Does he claim homestead exemption on his main house? (Which is a pretty nice house off Government St, I believe?)

I was there. G&R actually played a full show! Although I thought it was at the assembly center. My memory is a little foggy about that night.

it is the Centroplex. We should not allow ree ree's to change the names of landmarks when they do not have a reason to do so.

I can see the reason for wanting to call it Fat Todd Cane's Chicken Strip Centroplex, but to change it to the River C enter, on a whim is dumb.
