Has Lafayette overtaken Baton Rouge as the second best city

in LA? We all know New Orleans is number one but is LFT #2? It’s a much cleaner city, the bars aren’t located in a 3rd world country and the crime isn’t nearly as high. Plus River Ranch is nicer than any area in BR. Economy is better too. LSU football is the only thing that could make BR compete with Lafayette.

Dining, economy, cleanliness, crime, housing all objectively go to Lafayette. Public schools as well. University goes to BR

Lafayette economy has been in the toilet for years. BR metro is projected to gain the most new jobs in the state in 2020. I like Laffy but that statement is false.
