This is how I feel. Our transition to WFH has been as seamless as it could possibly be. Out numbers have improved. I would have argued against a WFH model but it seems I would have been wrong.

Our office space is onsite at our client and we use their equipment, so ultimately it's going to be the decision of the client. I have no idea how it's going to go down in the couple of months. I miss working in the office but I seem to be in minority.

This. If you work as part of team it’s not sustainable long term. Think if you had never even met your coworkers face to face. All this new normal talk is dumb and short sighted. For outside sales guys or whatever that have an office space they rarely use, sure. Maybe they’ll migrate to work at home permanently, but the rest, I just can’t see it.

I hope it happens for most white-collar workers.

The impact of taking a large chunk of unnecessary cars off the road everyday would be huge.

My work is itching to get back. I am not sure why, because everything is easily done from home. As of now, June 1st is the date that they are telling us to look at, as the date that we come back on, but who knows. We have had 12 cases in our factory and one death. Only one person in the front office though has caught it.

I think the entire mentality changes when the person lives out in the suburbs and has to commute 45 minutes vs a person who lives just a couple miles from the office.

I work for a large company that has a lot of big, expensive office buildings. They couldsave ungodly amounts of money by offloading some of those. They're currently looking into more WFH options.

That being said, I was already working from home three days a week before this mess. I can't wait until they open the offices back up. I didn't realize how much i needed those couple of days a week away from the house and the wife who thinks that because I'm home, I should be available to do whatever she needs or go wherever at the drop of a hat. My sanity is at stake. Plus it's just nice to interact with other people in a professional environment.

This is a great benefit to being at an office. My wife has gotten a dose of WFH now and she may finally be understanding this.

The first four or five years I was at home she wasn't working at all....oh my goodness.

My company is saving 20% of their overhead expenses by people not being in the office. I foresee permanent work from home in our horizon.

yeah...after 8 weeks of me working from home, my wife still hasn't understood the concept of pretending that I'm not actually here
