My maid crew is $80 a week and I’ve been giving them $10 on the top for the last couple years.

I did.

I have kids from Catholic High cut my yard. I gave them 15% more and told them they need to adjust for inflation caused by our clown of a president and worthless democrats everywhere.

They agreed he was a disaster and an embarrassment to every American, so I gave them an extra 20% instead.

A neighborhood kid does some yard work to earn spending money. We increased his pay this year.

Give the maid a 3-5% raise every year, just like most employers do. Nothing more than that this year because of inflation, just the standard.

My yard guy has been complaining non-stop about money for over a year. I finally gave in.

Gave him an extra $2 a week on his allowance.

They haven’t raised prices

Not yet. That’s why I started paying them $5 extra dollars.

I forgot this board is full of betas that can't even do their own yardwork. Pussies!

Some of us mow our own yards at home but hire crews to do grounds maintenance at our businesses.

And to answer the OP’s question, I told the guys that do it I’d be perfectly ok with them wanting to renegotiate the charge to cover increased costs.

now Wal Mart and Home Depot have both banned tipping for curbside pickup workers. Tried to tip both and both told me they could no longer take it. "We're not allowed". Such bullshite.

That is bullshite. I tried to tip the kid at Walmart a couple weeks ago when he loaded my truck with a week's worth of groceries. He told me he wasn't allowed to take tips and I insisted he take the tip. He told me he could lose his job over it. It was a $10 bill and I told him look, "I'm not tipping you. I saw this fall out of your pocket when you were loading my truck. I found it on the ground and I am giving it back to you."

I wrote my phone number down and gave it to him and said if anyone gave him shite about it to contact me and I would explain how I was only returning his money to him.

I'll be damned if Walmart is gonna tell me I can't tip these kids who are working hard and doing a good job.

Only every month on the OT.

For what it is worth, I can afford to pay someone to mow and clean pool. I just think it is more important that my sons see me do some of it and help.

I actually enjoy yardwork and working on the pool when I get home after spending all day inside an office

I do that at our ranch in South Texas. I go down there every 8 weeks and trim brush, bushog, and mow the grass.
