I get more news and information here on the OT than anywhere else, and almost as fast if not faster. Most threads about current events have more than one link, and give us the ability to read from more than one outlet.

This is Chicken’s true calling, to create a news site. How about TDN or the Bawston Gazette?

WSJ, Bloomberg, and Reuters are all good sources.

AP has decent political coverage for Louisiana.

Stay away from all cable news.

Whenever I used to watch the news, I thought Fox Business was the least biased out of everyone (in regards to regular news). Haven't watched the news in years though, so idk about now

Fox Business is >>>>>> FNC

As the other poster said, Bloomberg and Reuters are all pretty solid

Unfortunately news in general these days has bias for the most part

I can handle Bias but some are just extremely off their rockers with it

Probably whoever created this chart has their own bias, but this sort of sums it up and puts thing in a relative format.

UPI...no spin, just actual news - not much politics - what CNN used to be

When something happens and there is information spinning out of control, the AP is the one source in which you will get verified information.

They have a "center" media bias.

LINK

Im not sure where you retards heard different, but the AP is where news outlets get there stories from. They wait until the AP reports it because that means is verified.

I just keep in mind that, due to the nature of journalism and the marketing of media products, everything is sensationalized. Then I look for the story behind the hype. Pretty simple stuff, really.

It has never existed and never will. It's called taking in differing sources, questioning their sources and biases, and making the best determination you can at the time.

Nada, I have followed the AP and Reuters on Twitter and had to stop w/ each... regular news they are good, political news they are extreme left... literally fake headlines

Multiple sources and read the actual subject material, not someone's commentary on it.

This is what hard not to find. Even if you just want the facts.

Just wish there was a place that outlined all the facts, and then gave a summary. Basic writers today are no smarter or more informed than their readers. I like reading comment sections, and honestly take away a lot of the bull shite on this site but I enjoy this place for news. Heck I wouldnt hear about half the random stuff that gets posted on here, and skimming thru comments helps come to a decent conclusion.

Negative headlines get far more attention than positive headlines, and many more clicks.

We are in the misinformation age, because it sells
