I had to keep a towel under the bottle because it leaked and after a while started to eat the finish off of my cabinet. Eventually switched to pods.

Been using that exact brand and container for years without any problem. Sounds like user error to me.

I use Tide in the same type of bottle. Worst design ever. I hate it.

I buy that at Sam's. Never had a problem. Maybe you're a fricking idiot who can't figure out how to use laundry detergent?

I use Fels-naptha or Zote. That liquid junk is a ripoff.

I hate those designs personally. Eventually detergent gets all over the bottle and then in turn all over your cabinet.

Put something (towel or newspaper) underneath the bottle to soak up any potential drips/leaks.

Stick the small plastic cup under the valve then, genius. Not a hard fix. Some people just like to bitch about everything.

It appears, sir, that your issue is with the bottle design and not the laundry detergent itself. You should rephrase the OP.

I wish I could find the person that designed this damn bottle. If you've never used it before, steer clear. This POS design leaks all over the place out of the valve. I don't understand why you just release some crap like this without testing it first.

This is why I still wash my clothes in the crick with a brick of lye soap.

I’ve used those, never had an issue. I suspect it’s operator error.

I have. Dont remember the leaking though. you have to unscrew the other cap though so pressure doesnt build up.

Ok, I'm officially a moron now. Carry on, OTL.

I agree with you...
Pressure does not build up if you don't open the other cap....it's a vacuum that is created. I'm not sure that would cause a leak. I usually crack the cap every so often to allow the pressure to neutralize with atmospheric pressure. However, I've never had one leak do to it having a good vacuum built up...in fact it will pour out much slower with more vacuum created.
