Has anybody ever gotten in trouble at work due to Facebook

One of my good friend’s son lost his job recently due to FB. His son is 16 and was working at a discount tire store for a summer job. A very attractive college aged woman comes into the store to buy some new tires. After she left my friend’s son sent her a friend request on FB. She called the manager and he was fired. 
Rejected and fired all at once. That sucks.

a few year ago when i was on it a bunch i made a comment about the day i had at work or something, i was bitching and a few fat hens in the office made a hissy...
so, i deleted them all from my friends list

I have a friend who’s “not all there” but still a pretty good sales person.
He decided it was a good idea to run his mouth on Facebook about how much money he was making off an account. It was going to make him $20,000 per month easily for the foreseeable future.
That post got back to his customer and they cancelled all of his orders and cut him off completely.
He was actually facebook friends with an employee of the customer who he thought for some reason he was cool with.

I quit FB a year or 2 ago and this was at least part of the reason.

A former co-worker of mine got fired after uploading a short video of him peeling out with his company truck in a parking lot. The dumbass forgot his supervisor (not mine) was on his friend's list and as soon as he posted it, the supervisor saw it.

Some idiot at my FIL's work was on facebook talking shite about the higher ups in the company. He was fired. What an idiot.
