Colombia Lakes is south of Houston. Someone just said Addicks dam has water running over the top now.
I know this sounds ridiculous, but Addicks reservoir will have water flowing over/around it until September 20th, according the Army Corps of Engineers.

My buddy said Glen Loch is wet (idk what area he was talking about), but I looked on that elevation map and the road gets higher the closer you get to Sawdust, from what you described his house is probably about EL 135. That area is pretty low in general though.
Yeah, looked it up... This is what I posted earlier
Looks like my friends are at 136ft... two streets south is 135, four streets north is 122, and 2 streets west is 122. So maybe there is hope they are ok
They look to be on the higher elevation of the area.

That radar loop is unreal. Just wont quit.
As he begins to finally pull off to the NE, it appears the rain shield is swinging a bit back toward the south and west for one last shot.

Grand Lakes isn't looking good because of Barker. They were expecting water from Barker/George Bush park almost to 99 in that area. Hope they are okay.
ETA- I don't know if they have water right now but it's expected. The closer to 99 they are, they better their chances

It is a pretty safe bet that every home east of Fry Rd toward the Barker reservoir will get wate
How far north? All the way up to the Katy Freeway? That's a pretty narrow strip headed down towards Westheimber, but it's a much larger amount between say Green Trails up through Kingsland.
It also means the awesome preschool we used when living there, A Child's Reflection, is in Danger.

I'm watching a FB Live stream in Baytown, and it is crazy to see people who just don't want to leave even though the water is up to the knees.

Green Trials area is in danger as well up to near 10
Eta I haven't seen the water over there but know that they were warning Kelliwood, Green Trails, east Cinco, and that area that they were under threat because of Barker

Probably but I-10 east of town is going to be a shite show
That's what I'm worried about. I-10 from the border to Beaumont. I figure we can go through Liberty along hwy 90 once we get to Beaumont. Anyone tried that route?

East of Fry Rd up to Greenwind Chase, then south of Greenwind Chase to Baker, then east of Baker to essentially to I-10. The neighborhoods immediately north of Greenwind Chase to the drainage ditch behind them are also expected to get water, at least on the roads.
Barker is supposed to top 104 from September 1st through September 4th.
ETA - A Child's Reflection should be okay.

Since the gages seem to have failed at Barker reservoirs... any resources for how to keep track of how high they are getting? Are their other gages somewhere else?
