Please let everyone know where they are letting people thru. Cajun Navy Dispatch has spoken to Texas DPS 3 different times. They are saying otherwise. They have told 80 boat crew to stand down.
Member of that crew is a friend. He said they have Garret Graves working on their behalf but no one know if they are going to get through.

they are turning away all people with boats at the border unless they are first responders are have medical credentials.
Stupid question but..
Why would they turn away boats when they need boats to help rescue people? Already have enough?

Tell them to sit tight and they can go to work in Lake Charles.
Posted on 8/28/17 at 2:15 pm to Janky
Why in hell would they be refusing people trying to help?

FEMA must be doing work if they are stoping boats. It's amazing what could happen if they would get out of the way and let Americans take care of each other.

It's tough, but I think the idea is that they don't want to rescue other people who are trying to do good but get caught in a bad way.

I had a meeting for one of our projects, and the design consultant was also doing work for the S&WB. He said what the public was being told was basically the tip of the iceberg.
Is it sad this doesn't even surprise me anymore? Not even a little bit.

Ok so say 2 of them get in trouble and need help but the other 200 boats rescue a thousand people. Idiots.

My apartment is the AMLI on the other side the bayou. It's higher on my side and I have a friend staying there while I'm away. No water danger and still with power. Water hasn't come close to coming up to the door and I'm on the first floor. I want to come in town to take care of my stuff. But no way to do so

They said on the Cajun Navy dispatch that people were calling for rescue, then pulling guns and trying to steal the boats when the rescuers showed up.
