this is why we can't have nice things. can't imagine cajun navy baws getting their boats took.

I have a hard time believing that some wouldn't be armed but being armed and using it are two very different things I guess.

The main lady on the Cajun Navy Dispatch just said this over radio. Some people are such scum.

I wonder how many of those armed thieves are of the culcha variety.

Vegas books are averaging around 90-93% on the over/under.

I just heard on Cajun Navy dispatch that they are NOT turning away boats. They are turning away people coming to help who DO NOT HAVE BOATS. This is something I think was misunderstood at first and that spread. I'm glad they clarified with someone in the know.

you're subject to the state laws of whatever state you're carrying in. your state residency doesn't matter

Water already almost up to the sidewalk in old Metairie.

It will be fine once they get the pumps going. Glad I got my run at Pontiff in this morning.

Mexican Navy, possibly. Supposedly was group trying to steal their boats.

Playing with fire if thinking jacking up the Cajun Navy is a good idea

Thanks for the info. She stayed and is on the second floor. She still has power and water. Her dad wants to drive from San Antonio to go get her. I told him that was probably a bad idea.

I can't imagine how hard it is for a dad to hear it, but if she is above the floods, has power and water, she needs to stay put and ride it out. He probably wouldn't make it to her at this point and would be in a bad situation himself.

We aren't on the S&WB system, so we don't have to worry about that kind of incompetence.

A guy said on the dispatch channel that they had 80 boats en route from BR and she told them to hold tight, that they're not letting boats in. I'm not the only one that heard it.

I heard the exact opposite, but I wouldn't argue either way, I'm not out there

I heard that communication as well. I don't know if they blocked him but I haven't heard him since.
