If South Central and SELA can continue to get periods where the rain subsides or ceases, then I think we can handle the storm in terms of flooding. It's currently sunny in Lafayette and had been raining all morning, water is draining pretty good right now. We can a decent amount (12-15") if spread out over 2-3 days with break periods in between. Another thing to mention is that (hopefully) it shouldn't sit on top of Louisiana (like the August flood last year and like it has done in Houston). It should continue to push NE.

The Cajun Navy Dispatch channel is still claiming it was legitimate. The report came directly from boats on the water. No way to confirm at this point.

Not sure about EBR yet, I have seen several around Lafayette that were closed tomorrow. I know St. Mary Parish is closed, I would have to assume Cameron Parish is also closed.

Thanks for the info. She stayed and is on the second floor. She still has power and water. Her dad wants to drive from San Antonio to go get her. I told him that was probably a bad idea.
