Absolutely a horrible idea (meant traveling in general)

The Cajun radio is super clogged up... too many people have access to radio app so they are misusing the shite out of it

Does anyone have a link for all school closures in Louisiana? All the articles I could find are parish-by-parish.

With the amount of rain I have send in mid city nola over the past half hour, I would think there has to be some street flooding

Iberia, Evangeline, Lafayette, St. Martin Parish schools also closed Tuesday.

Vermillion Parish schools are closed through Thursday.

It would be extremely challenging to make it in from SA at this point and the roads are changing by the minute. If it's one of the mid to high rise buildings in that area she should be fine

Water already almost up to the sidewalk in old Metairie. Seems like New Orleans might be in trouble if the pumps aren't working.

I have family who is currently evacuating to San Antonio from the Richmond, TX area, which is southwest of Houston?

I've heard some of the exits are blocked off, but there is a way to get there.

Obviously, that's not from Houston. Just letting you know.

So were the reports of the Cajun Navy being fired on inaccurate?

Apparently not. Also, this is the reason TX officials are giving for stopping boats at the state line. Multiple reports of armed people calling for rescue and trying to steal the boats when rescuers arrive.

I wonder how many of those armed thieves are of the culcha variety.
