So I guess now we're going to be in a loop since you can't use your own advice.

ETA: And that's my last post regarding that fyi.

No chance HWY6 opens up in the next month... Addicks is going to be over for a long long while.

So just we're clear here, this afternoon and early evening is going to be make or break for Baton Rouge and New Orleans as to finding out whether we can handle this or not?

Right?

Houston people who can offer insight-
My good friend hasn't been responding to me since last night, and she's usually back in touch within minutes. Can y'all tell me what the situation is in her area of Richmond? Sorry I don't have an exact address but here's the description she gave me of her neighborhood the other day:
"Brazos River but there is a really rich neighborhood in btw us and it" and also "we live in the newer part of Richmond, not older lower lying parts."

Wish I could find her address but appears I deleted it from my texts a while back.

Welp ot. Shipping us out to San Antonio from sienna plantation.

Not going to hang around to see if the house takes water.

Luckily I'm renting so monetary losses if we are flooded will only be furniture.

Wish me luck!

Good luck. Swing by and pick ryno up on your way out. He's a stubborn mule, so don't take no for an answer.

Ok good, thanks. So worried about them. Her MIL also lives with her husband/two kids. She can't swim so I know she would be freaking out if the water was getting close.

Is that you Mitch?

Someone earlier in the thread said something about the dam at Lake Conroe, can any provide some info about that area? I have family that live on the east side of the lake.
