everything will be diverted to I-20. Which means DFW is going to be a shite show for the next few days.

But this flooding if bringing back some really bad bad memories.

Watching this footage and looking at these totals makes me shudder at the impact this could have had in New Orleans. These totals would have caused flooding worse than Katrina, no doubt about it, particularly with the pump issues.

Just an incredible amount of water. 650 billion gallons in Harris County alone.

There would've been serious discussions at all 3 levels of american government about seriously abandoning and shuttering down an american city for the first time in modern history.
