Good friends in Richmond, TX. Limited contact with her because they are overwhelmed. I begged them to leave on Friday and she called me a fear mongerer. They're near the Brazos River. Just street flooding so far but can someone post relevant data on the river and water levels in that area? So nervous because I don't feel they or their friends took this seriously.

I understand that but now who has resources for the third largest city in the US under water?
I mean this is freaking crazy between now and thursday 15-30 more inches.

Anybody know anything about the willow bend area of Houston? Is it prone to flooding? Have some good friends that live out that way

Yeah there is no good answer. Wish there was. These are the kind of weather catastrophes that you cannot truly mitigate. Just have to react and hope the leadership handles it accordingly going forward.

Depends where in Richmond. If in Pecan Grove streets are flooded some have lost water pressure. If outside Pecan Grove it is still passsble with large trucks. Here is the river forcast LINK. If they flooded last year, they will flood again.

What's troubling with some of these people is the fact they think they made it thru the night and they're good because the rain slacked up.
