So are parts of Houston going to be fricked?
Oh yeah, Meyerland is fricked like it was 2yrs ago...
Haven't seen updates, but looks like Heights/Rice Military will be ok, but they are so far above everything, thats expected.
Wonder what the canals through there look like though, especially buffalo along Washington.

Bring that stupid shite up elsewhere. There's no reason whatsoever to bring politics into this thread. None.
Some people need someone to blame, even indirectly. It's a coping mechanism. Clearly this is Trump's fault.

I already called into work, and have talked to other people. We're already on our way. Getting gas right now in cans, boat, extra 50gal I bought after our flood, and truck..
We will do what we can!!!

Coast Guard helos are out doing rescues in Dickinson, south Houston.

Thanks for all that you guys do. Stay safe. Still holding strong in The Woodlands, but peeps south of us have it bad.

This may be a dumb question, but what happens when the water gets above your outlets and the power is still on?
I'm watching a guy walk through his flooded home on ABC13 and all the lights are still on. I'd think there would be an electrocution risk.

They were absolutely slammed over the past 12 hours.
ETA: I don't have a gauge there, but a gauge just north of Dickinson on Clear Creek @ I-45 got 20.5" in the last 12 hours.

Yeah, im cautiously optimistic we won't get terrible flooding here in the woodlands. But, I said the same thing last August when I was living off fricking Millerville so what the frick do I know.

Right.... Doesn't even look like it is moving at all now.

Is there a chance it still moves back out into the gulf? Sorry, haven't followed the path since last night. I know one of the European models that had been pretty spot on had it moving back out.

This thread just keeps reminding me the absolutely devastation I witnessed my uncle, aunt and cousins go through last year with the BR flooding and how it tore their lives apart and how they had to give up their most prized belongings with it.
Stay safe everyone. Don't do anything stupid and be ready to get shite cracking at your house when the water goes down.
