I don't know how bad it is in Baytown, but I wouldn't go out there. I'm in Deer Park and there's no possible way to leave my neighborhood. The water is literally 1 inch from going into my house. our entire street is flooded to near the top of the mailboxes. Worst part is by looking at the radar it appears another band is coming our way.

Katy Will get an additional 5" in the next 4 hours.
Based on the way it's raining right now we might get it in the next two hours or less.

That sucks. The train should be over you for awhile.

Radar shows it's going to be here for a while.
Luckily it will lighten up just enough every now and then and the standing water will go down slightly.
The problem is going to be the reservoirs where this water is going. The Ft Bend County officials are saying that the Barker reservoir will hit record levels and we still have days of rain to go.

Channel 2 radar shows the band going thru the west side of town to be weakening as it gets closer to 10.

don't know how accurate the "Rainfall Accumulation" feature on the wunderground app is, but we've allegedly got just over 12.5" since midnight here

Just reminder to check all your doors. Water was coming under my door simply from the wind blowing it so hard. This storm is crazy hard.

Water has dropped a ton at my house. All the way back to the street. Every little bit helps, and looking at that radar we need all the help we can get.
