Water has gone back another 5 feet last time I checked. Maybe more now, but here comes the rain again.

Wow, just saw someone driving by. Water has definitely gone down. Bottom of his truck was above the water, it's not lifted.

i live in Louisiana. i just have an apartment here for work.
nothing really stopping me from leaving at anytime (other than i've been awake for 20+ hours now).
just not sure what to expect here or what area might give me problems.
i'm like 3 minutes south of I-10.
everything i'm seeing seems to point to all the problems right now being to my west, but due to the way this area drains, it's coming my way in next couple of days or so.
i've i only been here a few months now, so just looking for advice.
