Google that location river gauges.
It's certainly not a main one and won't show up on the upstream or downstream links but might well be tracked.

Saw one of the flash flood warning/emergencies (the one for west central harris co) has a PDS attached to it.
I can't recall ever seeing a PDS for a flash flood warning - did we have one in Baton Rouge last year?

Yes. For Denham and eastern parts of EBR the Saturday of the flood. I remember, cuz I was in a location in the warning.

Clear Lake has changed significantly in the past 30 minutes, lots of lightning strikes, heavy rain. Rain gauge right under 2 inches in 30 minutes.

I'm just north of you,on El Dorado. Had little to no rain all day but it's definitely coming down now.

That would explain why I haven't seen a departure out of IAH in over 2 1/2 hours or Hobby in about 3 hours
Feel bad for these people flying back from Tokyo today. Were supposed to land at IAH at 2:15pm, diverted while over Utah to San Francisco at 11:15am, must have cleared customs/immigration because they didn't take off from San Fran until 6 hours later at 5pm, and now they got all the way to Houston and can't land in the storms so diverting all the way back to Denver. I'm told my neighborhood doesn't get much flooding. Just hoping to keep power and not have a tree fall on the house.

Street is a river now about 16" deep. 5" of rain in the past 70 minutes and going steady!

Still a very impressive looking storm. Just keeps pulling moisture in from the Gulf with rain just training over the same areas.

Our street too. Probably a little over a foot of water. It's in the front yard now.
