I have three family members that live in Rockport. Just got a text that all three lost their homes and one lost thier place of business as well. One family member's friend stayed with his father because he is too ill to move. The house blew apart except for the bathroom they were hiding in.

I'd expect way more damage from a Cat 4 hurricane. Many signs are still standing along with flimsy buildings and there is little debris in the road.

The difference maker was that there are few blacks in Rockport so the republican president didn't need to blow anything up.
That's why I made damn sure blacks weren't seeking shelter inside.
