And, I suspect a whole group of liberal kids will continue to pay for such an elite education.

well yeah

you don't necessarily go to Harvard just for the education, you go for the prestige and connections

What sets Harvard apart is the interaction with professors, guest lectures, social bonding, networking, etc....

They will be paying.....but there wont't be much attending of classes. Great way to make money and keep your overhead expenses low.

The first domino falls, the higher education bubble that has been overinflated for years is going to burst because of Covid. Schools will have to close, all will have some degree of reorganization, professors and other faculty will be laid off, admissions and tuition will have to change as well. I personally cant wait for the end results of all of this, higher education has been a farce for twenty years with the overinflated tuition and marxist indoctrination centers in all of their social science departments.

This is going to be fascinating to follow going forward, I hope LSU will have to undergo a rigorous restructuring as well because they have needed it for decades. If youre a parent and are still debating about sending your kid to school this fall, have them get a job and save up for next year. It will be cheaper and they will have a better college experience as well.

Harvard will allow some students on campus this fall so long as they take coronavirus tests every three days

Isn't their online curriculum available to anybody, for free?

Seriously. Or just sign up at BRCC for a few easy credits online while working/interning somewhere. Not worth wasting the money and missing the college experience (aka some of the best years of your life)

No online education is worth that cost
