There is an excellent article over on zero hedge analyzing the extremely rapid development of A/I utilization to instantly control messaging, proactively and reactively. No I do not do links. Basically a person makes an observation on the internet, like "the truck driver did not speak English" and liberal A/I messaging will publish a hundred articles obscuring the facts and leading readers to believe the initial commenter was racist white trash. Publishing occures in several seconds. You will not see rebuttal attribution, facts, or links that could be used to id truth telling. In all of this, Speed of messaging is absolute, and controlling. This is taking place in politics, news, medical retailing, retailing in general, religion, war, LGBTQRX, education, food, science, global warming/cooling, carbon capture, energy, water shortage. And on, and on. Speed of messaging prevents truth check ing. Nothing can be considered real any more.

Except for hard copy books. It takes time to publish, market, distribute, retail, and they go on the shelf for future unmanipulated reference. Author, editor, publisher are all attributed for all time.

I do believe that the future effective control mechanism for blatant A/I mis information in every thing we do will be hard copy books.

I also acknowledge I have a slide rule

I have a regular size slide rule, and also a mini pocket sized slide rule.
I got in right when they were still teaching slide rule but only as a demonstration because the engineering students were getting HP‘s and TI’s and were allowed to use them.

Right, people will trade ease and convenient of technology for hardcover books. I hate AI as much as anyone but this is a pipe dream.

I also read this article. And I agree with your point.

Just another example of adaptation to technological progress revitalizing something that was once thought to be going extint.

so you laugh at my not doing links. If you were the bigger person you would just jump in and do the link for affirmative use by readers. You are not interested in knowledge, just clicks.

Yeah, because people can't lie when they just write things down on paper!

If you were interested in knowledge, you would try to share it, instead of being too lazy or dogmatic to spend five seconds posting a link.

I would post a picture of a slide rule for you but I am either too dogmatic, or to lazy to do it.

That should prove I am not A/I as it took more key strokes in my response than A/I would generating a picture.

I think it's just your age.

I would never accuse you of AI, I've enjoyed too many of your posts to think such.

Anywho.. I was having fun quoting a song, "Don't know much about geography. Don't know much trigonometry. Don't know much about algebra. Don't know what a slide rule is for"

I would only get "clicks" if I did the thing you asked me to do (which means I did not)
