He's good but Collin Raye is just as good and overlooked. Similar age range and era. Dude can flat out sing.

I've heard the name but didn't know any of those songs. Sounds like listening to that group Alabama my mother always liked.

Guess I'm just an old school honky tonk snob. So be it.

Just saw him, touring with the Eagles. He did a good job, along with Glenn Frey's son, Deacon. Great show.

Great song picks. I'll add "Let Me Love You Tonight" with Pure Prairie League and "Pocket Full of Gold." My dad loved Vince Gill. Played "Go Rest High On That Mountain" at his funeral. That song still gets me in the feels and it always will.

I was dating a girl that drug me up to Nashville to see Carrie Underwood a year or so after she got famous. Event was at the opre, and little did I know it was some women of country thing. It was basically 10-15 different women country singers coming out and doing a 3 song set.

Well one of them couldn't make it. Out walks Vince Gill, "so and so couldn't be here tonight, I sound close enough to a woman I thought I would sing for her"

Did a 3 song set and then Carrie came on.

Saw him at The Ryman, and it was 4 hours of fantastic playing and singing. One of the best shows I've ever seen, and I wasn't a particularly big fan before then.

One of his backup singers did a few songs at intermission, blew the roof off, and got a standing ovation. Then Vince's and Amy's daughter, Corinna, who is also a backup singer, sang When My Mama Prays (right after Amy was in a bicycle wreck and had been in the hospital) and had everyone bawling.

He joked about The Ryman finally letting him play there other than "that damned old Christmas show."

Colin is one of my absolute favorites. His range is ridiculous.

I'm seeing him in concert on June 1st.
