The Bachelor is just about the dumbest idea for a TV show that I’ve ever seen in my life. I watched it yesterday with my wife for the first time ever and that show is so damn cringeworthy.. I know it’s not ‘scripted’, but every time that dude opened his mouth to talk, it sounded like he was reading straight from a script.. then Cassie can’t say more than 5 or 6 words without saying ‘like’.... that shite drove me up the wall... not sure how people get so involved in this trash

Wife had the episode on last night while I was passing through. New bachelorette was meeting the first round of guys. She is very attractive but man did she seem socially awkward. I can't see her carrying a whole season. I'm sure a lot of the viewers aren't happy.

She was one of my favorite contestants on the last season
Colton was such a beta bitch. I called it from episode 1 that whoever he picked would end up rejecting him and I was right.
Hannah B had more personality than the stone Hannah G who had no personality at all(even though I thought Hannah G was hotter), and wasn't immature like Cassie, or stuck up like Caelynn(who I did not find attractive). Also after record low ratings last time it happened it will be a long time before another black woman is cast as the Bachelorette so that ruled out Tayeshia.

Of the 21 bachelor seasons, only 1 of the 21 couples are still together. It's obvious most girls go on the show to make a name for themselves and become a semi-celebrity, it's their worst nightmare to be the winner. They just want to place in the Top 3 or 4 and not get picked. You could tell Cassie was mortified for being the winner since she never thought she would win.
Bachelorette, 6 of the 14 couples are still together so it has a higher success rate... the structure of the Bachelorette makes more sense. The men don't go on the show to become famous, and the bachelorette is more serious about finding someone.

Guess it’s hard to maintain a relationship when you aren’t being told what to say, don’t have exclusive romantic dates laid out for you, and all that other shite that is on the show

No one with half a brain actually thinks the show is real. No reality show is real. They are all scripted in some way.
Women don’t watch it thinking the guy or girl will find love. They watch it for the train wrecks that go on the show. Every person on that show is on there in hopes of pushing another agenda. Usually to make money after the show via Instagram, tv, etc.
For most....it’s a guilty pleasure show that you watch cause sometimes you just like watching people act like fools on tv.
