Ah, the classic Air Max 90. A very highly respected shoe in the sneakerhead world. I really like the pair you selected.
The 17 year old probably called them “old man shoes” because they literally were released in 1990. 17 year olds tend to have shite taste. He and his buds probably all wear Kevin Durant basketball sneakers (most are ugly to us, but made for the younger crowd), Vans, and if their parents will buy it for them, anything by Kanye.

I’ve had Scarpa for the last 10 years. Just got these around Christmas. Ya gotta break them in before they’re really comfortable. But once they are, it’s the best shoe anywhere.
