With my hatred of musicals, my initial perceived “WTF” of the choice of subject matter, and general indifference to rap I thought I would hate it.

It was very entertaining.

I’m not racist! I watched Hamilton and have a lot of black friends.

Or if you just want to enjoy one of the best shows in the history of American Broadway musicals, don't throw away your shot

Eh. It was pretty good, but this is a stretch.

When I say “one of” I’m thinking of a handful. So, yes, I absolutely think Hamilton is one of the five best pieces of American Broadway musical theater. Though that’s obviously just my opinion.

There is more to the world than Duck Dynasty and Natty Light.

Bull shite.

Hamilton isn't showing on the poly board and you have no friends.

It was good and you’re entitled your your own opinion, but if you’ve seen 25 broadway shows and this is your favorite I’d like to know which ones you are putting above it.

7.5/10.

Probably none since this is his favorite.

No. He was a somewhat passive abolitionist but his priority was never focused on ending slavery.

Watched with my wife tonight. It was good, would obviously be better in person. My only complaint is that Lin Manuel Miranda's singing and delivery just sounds off in the first act and Aaron Burr has a lisp that's not on the soundtrack.

It might not be that Lin is a bad singer, just that he's outclassed by some of the other voices.

Watched it tonight and enjoyed it. Not a hip hop fan, but I enjoyed the history aspect of it and the music was used well.

No, Lin absolutely can’t sing. It’s just really obvious when he is juxtaposed against Soo and Odom

He can sing, he's just outclassed by everyone else on that stage.

I know it's not a popular opinion but I wouldn't necessarily agree with this. I think seeing it in person was different but I wouldn't call it better. So many facial expressions, reactions and alot of the dialogue is missed in person. Sure, there is always something with seeing a performance live and in person but I enjoyed the story more last night than when I saw it in person.
